About the course
October 14–15 and 21–22, 2026
RedIF is offering a free online course exclusively for its members, taught by Professors Iñaki F. Trocóniz, PhD (University of Navarra, Spain), and Manuel Ibarra, PhD (University of the Republic, Uruguay). The course, entitled “Population Pharmacokinetic and Pharmacodynamic Analysis,” will be conducted in Spanish, with hands-on sessions supported in both Spanish and Portuguese, and will comprise a total of 12 hours of instruction. The Portuguese session will be supported by Jessica Lemos and Vinicius Rodrigues. Participants will receive a certificate of completion.
This course offers a comprehensive introduction to the fundamental concepts, applications, and implementation of population pharmacokinetic models. Participants will develop the skills and confidence needed to evaluate common PK models and meaningfully interpret their results. Beyond the fundamentals, the course is designed as a starting point for more advanced topics, bridging the gap between foundational population models and the clinical interpretation of drug response. It also serves as preparation for the in-person workshop “PopPKPD with MonolixSuite®,” which will be held in Santiago, Chile, on November 2–3, 2026.
